Common use of Notice of Mortgage Clause in Contracts

Notice of Mortgage. to place and at all times and places to retain a properly certified copy of the Mortgage (which shall form part of the Ship's documents) on board the Ship with her papers and cause such certified copy of the Mortgage to be exhibited to any and all persons having business with the Ship which might create or imply any commitment or encumbrance whatsoever on or in respect of the Ship (other than a lien for crew's wages and salvage) and to any representative of the Mortgagee and to place and keep prominently displayed in the navigation room and in the Master's cabin of the Ship a framed printed notice in plain type reading as follows:
