Common use of Notification of Criminal Record Clause in Contracts

Notification of Criminal Record. If, at any time during the term of this Contract, a Retailer becomes aware that a Retailer employee or agent is convicted through court or administrative action, of a gambling-related offense or any other crime, or have a withheld judgment for the same, the Retailer shall, within 14 days, notify the Director, in writing, of such offense or crime. Failure to notify the Director may be grounds for termination. Crime, as used herein, means the violation of any gaming law, state, federal or local, or any other crime other than traffic infractions.
