NOTIFICATION OF DEATH. If there are two Annuitants, the survivor is responsible for informing us of the other Annuitant's death. Each Beneficiary is responsible for notifying us of the death of the last surviving Annuitant. Upon the death of the last person with the right to receive annuity income under a Contract, that person's executor is responsible for notifying us. If too much annuity income is provided because we are not notified of a death, we may withhold annuity income on subsequent Annuity Income Dates, or take legal action, until we have recovered any excess amounts.
