NOTIFICATION OF DEATH. 21.1 The policyholder, beneficiary and/or surviving relative is obliged to notify the insurer of the death of the insured party as soon as possible, but at the latest within 4 months after the death occurred. If this is not complied with, the insurer shall be entitled to withhold payment. 21.2 The insurer shall not be released from its obligation to deal with a report if it can be demonstrated that due to force majeure the report could not be made within the set period and that the insurer's interests were not harmed by the late report.
