Notification Requirements Prior to Hearing and Right to Counsel. An Employee served notice of intent to seek termination who requests in a timely manner a formal hearing in writing shall be served by the University President with a notice of hearing and specific written charges at least 15 work days prior to commencement of the hearing. During the proceedings, the Employee shall be permitted to have counsel or an advisor of her/his choice. When practical, the Employee shall be present but such presence is not required for the proceeding to go forward.
