Novo Technology. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and solely to the extent necessary to enable Neose to carry out its obligations under the Work Plan, Novo hereby grants to Neose, for the term of the Work Plan, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, license under the Novo Technology to use such Novo Technology for the sole purpose of carrying out its obligations under the Work Plan. Novo shall retain at all times all of its rights, title and interest to the Novo Technology.
