Common use of Number of Files Clause in Contracts

Number of Files. There shall be only one personnel file maintained at the district office for each employee. Following review by the principal and employee, any other file relating to an employee kept at the school shall be destroyed when the employee or the principal leaves that school. Access to such files shall be limited to the employee and the employer. Subject to the employee’s written permission, a local union designate may have access to that employee’s file.
