NUMBER OF VARIABLE ANNUITY UNITS. The number of Annuity Units credited for each Portfolio is the amount of the first annuity payment attributable to that Portfolio divided by the value of the applicable Annuity Unit for that Portfolio as of the 15th day of the month preceding the Annuity Date. The number of Annuity Units used to calculate the variable annuity payment each month remains constant unless you change Portfolio elections.
