Common use of O Flexibility Clause in Contracts

O Flexibility. a) Flexibility in taking RDO’s may be achieved by the Employer and an employee agreeing to change their RDOs to another mutually convenient date. b) In order to preserve a workable 9-day fortnight for all concerned, the parties need to have flexibility in changing RDOs, so the Employer is able to service the needs of its clients. RDOs can only be taken on a Monday or Friday unless the employee elects otherwise. c) Advantages of a flexible RDO system include: i. Banking of no more than 5 RDOs to be used at a mutually convenient date; ii. Flexibility for employees to change RDOs to suit their needs; iii. Meeting client requirements.
