Common use of Objective and Business of the Company Clause in Contracts

Objective and Business of the Company. (a) The objective and business of the Company is to purchase, sell (including short sales), invest and trade in Securities, on margin or otherwise, and to engage in any financial or derivative transactions relating thereto or otherwise. The Company may execute, deliver and perform all contracts, agreements and other undertakings and engage in all activities and transactions as may in the opinion of the Board of Managers be necessary or advisable to carry out its objective or business. (b) The Company shall operate as a closed-end, non-diversified, management investment company in accordance with the 1940 Act and subject to any fundamental policies and investment restrictions set forth in the Form N-2.
