Objective and Scope. 1. The Parties shall aim at the liberalisation of current payments and capital movements between them, in conformity with the commitments undertaken in the framework of the international financial institutions and with due consideration to each Party's currency stability.
2. This Section applies to all current payments and capital movements between the Parties. Specific provisions on current payments and capital movements are set out in Annex XI.
Objective and Scope. 1. The objective of this Chapter is to provide the Parties with a dispute settlement mechanism that aims at achieving, mutually agreed solutions to, or settlement by arbitration of, any dispute arising from this Agreement.
2. Disputes on the same matter arising under both this Agreement and the WTO Agreement may be settled in either forum at the discretion of the complaining Party.9 The forum thus selected shall be used to the exclusion of the other.
3. For the purpose of this Article, dispute settlement proceedings under the WTO Agreement or this Agreement are deemed to be initiated upon a request for the establishment of a panel by a Party.
4. Before a Party initiates dispute settlement proceedings under the WTO Agreement against another Party as regards a matter arising under both this Agreement and the WTO Agreement, it shall notify the Parties of its intention at least thirty days in advance.
Objective and Scope. 1. The objective of this Agreement is to ensure the protection of Classified Information that is commonly generated or exchanged between the Parties.
2. This Agreement shall be applicable to any activities, contracts or agreements involving Classified Information that will be conducted or concluded between the Parties in the future.
3. The provisions of this Agreement shall also apply to the Classified Information already generated or exchanged in the process of cooperation between the Parties before entering into force of this Agreement.

Objective and Scope. 1.1 This EDI Agreement defines the legal terms and conditions under which the Parties shall operate when conducting transactions with the aid of electronic data interchange (EDI procedure).
1.2 The Agreement consists exclusively of the provisions set out below.
1.3 Unless the Parties agree otherwise, the provisions hereof shall not govern the contractual obligations arising from the transactions handled via EDI.
1.4 With respect to the implementation of the EDI procedure, the Parties shall be entitled to outsource to third parties the fulfilment of their obligations, if the respectively other Party was notified of such intention beforehand and has previously agreed in writing. This shall, however, not release the Parties from their obligations.
Objective and Scope. 1. This Agreement establishes a Political and Economic Association between the Parties, based on reciprocity, common interest and on the deepening of the relationship in all areas of application.
2. The Association is a process that will lead to a growing relationship and cooperation between the Parties structured around the bodies created in this Agreement.
3. This Agreement covers in particular the political, commercial, economic and financial, scientific, technological, social, cultural and cooperation fields. It may be extended to other areas to be agreed upon by the Parties.
4. In accordance with the objectives defined above, this Agreement provides for the following:
(a) the enhancement of political dialogue on bilateral and international matters of mutual interest, which will be conducted through meetings at different levels;
(b) the strengthening of cooperation in the political, commercial, economic and financial, scientific, technological, social, cultural and cooperation fields, as well as other areas of mutual interest;
(c) the participation of each Party in the framework programmes, specific programmes and other activities of the other Party shall be upgraded, in so far as permitted by each Party's internal procedures governing access to the programmes and activities concerned, in accordance with Part III of this Agreement; and
(d) the expansion and diversification of the Parties' bilateral trade relation in conformity with WTO provisions and with the specific objectives and provisions set out in Part IV of this Agreement.
Objective and Scope. Recognising the impact which their respective regulatory environment may have on trade between them, the Parties shall pursue an efficient and predictable regulatory environment for economic operators, especially small ones doing business in their territories. The Parties, reaffirming their respective commitments under the WTO Agreement, hereby lay down clarifications and improved arrangements for transparency, consultation and better administration of measures of general application, in so far as these may have an impact on any matter covered by this Agreement.
Objective and Scope. 1. The objective of this Annex is to facilitate the finding of a mutually agreed solution through a comprehensive and expeditious procedure with the assistance of a mediator.
2. This Annex shall apply to any measure under the scope of this Agreement adversely affecting trade or investment between the Parties, except as otherwise provided.
Objective and Scope. 1. The purpose of this PCA is to establish the general terms and conditions under which the Parties shall collaborate to achieve the objectives set forth below for both ECA and the Implementing Partner through collaborative work. The technical expertise from both organizations, which shall be used in this collaboration, allows for a more effective and efficient utilization of resources made available by both ECA and the Implementing Partner.

Objective and Scope. 2.7.2.1 The objective of a Functional Performance Test is to demonstrate that the entire individual system operates according to the Contract Documents.
2.7.2.2 Contractor shall operate each system through all modes of operation (occupied, unoccupied, warm-up, cool-down, etc.) for specified system responses. Contractor is required to demonstrate to Owner’s satisfaction each operational sequence.
