As a condition of living on campus I will agree to the terms and conditions in the Resident Participation Acknowledgement form.

I agree that I will notify University Housing immediately should I test positive for the Covid-19 virus or learn that someone with whom I have been in close contact has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus so that the University may take measures necessary to protect the health and student information updated by use safety of official University websitesthe university community; and that I will comply with current CDC guidelines on self-quarantine and self-isolation.

You agree to pay all charges as due, due and to comply with and abide by the following terms these Terms and conditions: the UTSA Student Code of Conduct; the UTSA Handbook of Operating Procedures; Conditions, the University Graduate or Undergraduate Catalogue, the Housing Resident Handbook; Policies contained within the Residence Hall Handbook , the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System; , the System-wide Policies of The University of Texas System, the University’s Handbook of Operating Policies, and all other University rules, regulations policies and policiesregulations, which are now in effect or may now or in the future come into effect effect, governing student conduct or pertaining to University residence halls (individually and collectively, the “University Regulations”).
b. B. You acknowledge and agree that rates or fees are subject to change by legislative actionaction or otherwise, as are University Regulations affecting this ContractRegulations. Changes and additions are officially announced and/or posted, and the . The announcement or posting constitutes actual noticenotice to You. Changes and additions to University Regulations affecting this Contract become effective and binding on at the first date of posting or official announcement.

If University exercises its right to cancel the Contract for Your violation of these Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise provided by these Terms and Conditions, You will be responsible for applicable cancellation fees as outlined in Section V. of these Terms and Conditions.

You agree that if the University finds you to be in violation of this Contract or of any of the University Regulations, have a poor payment history, or if you are disruptive to the use and enjoyment of University Housing by other students: (1) you may be E. If Student is subject to University disciplinary action (including but not limited to dismissal from the University); (2) you action, Student may be required to change residence within University’s owned or controlled residential properties (University Housing residence halls; and/or (3Housing) your license to use University Housing may be revoked and this Contract canceled and you may be required or to withdraw from University Housing. Student may also be prohibited from living in other on-campus University Housing. Any Student whose actions pose life-threatening danger to self or others is subject to immediate and permanent removal from University Housing without prior written notice. If the University requires you Student to withdraw from University Housing, this the Contract will be automatically canceled cancelled and you You will pay all charges accrued under this Contract until you check out pursuant to be responsible for applicable cancellation fees as outlined in Section VII, plus the Liquidated Damages Charge (defined below)V. of these Terms and Conditions.
f. F. You agree to keep timely advise the University Housing Office in writing of any change of your contact and student address, identification number or telephone number. Failure to provide this information updated by use may result in cancellation of official University websitesContract at University’s option.
G. ALL CONTRACT CANCELLATIONS BY YOU MUST BE ADDRESSED, IN WRITING, TO THE UNIVERSITY HOUSING OFFICE VIA EMAIL, FAX OR LETTER.

Obligations and Agreements of Student and Guarantor. The University grants Student a license to use the room the University assigns to Student as Student’s temporary residence during the Contract Period, subject to the following terms and conditions.
a. You agree to pay all Contract charges as due, when due and to comply with and abide by the following terms and conditions: the UTSA Student Code of Conduct; the UTSA Handbook of Operating Procedures; the University Housing Resident Handbook; provisions contained in this Contract, the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System; , The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Code of Student Conduct , The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Alcohol and Other Drug Policies, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Handbook of Operating Procedures, the Resident Handbook, and all other University rules, rules and regulations and policies, which that may now or in the future come into effect governing student conduct or pertaining to the University residences (individually and collectively, collectively called the “University Regulations”).
b. You acknowledge and agree that the rates or and fees set out in the Contract are subject to change by legislative action, as are University Regulations and policies affecting this the Contract. Changes and additions are to the rates, fees, University Regulations and policies shall be officially announced and/or posted, and the announcement or posting constitutes actual noticenotice to you. You agree that if you violate any of the terms or conditions of this the Contract, have a poor payment history, or if the University determines that you have violated (i) disregarded the University Regulations and/or the terms and conditions of community living standards, including roommate contracts agreed upon by you and your roommate(s)both roommates, or if you are disruptive (ii) accumulated a history of delinquent payment to the use and enjoyment of University Housing by other studentsUniversity, then, the University may terminate your license and/or refuse to offer you a University Housing housing contract in the future.
e. You agree that if you are found by the University finds you to be in violation of this the Contract or of any of the University Regulations, have a poor payment history, or if you are disruptive to the use and enjoyment of University Housing by other students: (1) you may will be subject to University disciplinary action (including but not limited to dismissal from the University); (2) you may be required to change University Housing residence halls; and/or (3) your license to use University Housing may be revoked and this Contract canceled and you may be required to withdraw from University Housinghousing. If the University requires you to withdraw from University Housinghousing, this Contract your license will be automatically canceled cancelled and you will pay be charged for $1000 as an early termination fee in addition to all other unpaid charges accrued under this Contract until the Contact through the date you check out pursuant to Section VII, plus the Liquidated Damages Charge (defined below)out.
f. You agree that if your actions are disruptive to the use and enjoyment of University housing facilities by other students, or if you fail to adjust to a community living environment, you will be subject to University disciplinary action, you may be required to change residence, and you may be required to withdraw from University housing. If the University requires you to withdraw from University housing, your license will be automatically cancelled and you will be charged for $1000 as an early termination fee in addition to all other unpaid charges accrued under the Contact through the date you check out.

You agree to keep the University accurately informed about your contact information and student information updated by use updating that information using the University‘s official websites which include xxx.xxxxx.xxx.
