Common use of Obligations and Certification of Cleared Officers Clause in Contracts

Obligations and Certification of Cleared Officers. a. Each officer of the Corporation with a personnel security clearance shall exercise his best efforts to ensure that the terms and conditions of the Agreement are complied with by the parties hereto. b. Upon effective date of the Agreement and annually thereafter, each such officer shall execute, for delivery to DSS, a certificate (1) acknowledging the protective security measures taken by the Corporation to implement the Agreement; and (2) acknowledging the United States Government has placed its reliance on him as resident citizen of the United States, and as a holder of a personnel security clearance, to exercise his best efforts to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement by the parties hereto.
