Obligations of the District and the Association. The District is obligated to supervise and evaluate unit members. The Superintendent or designee will train administrators in the fine art of supervision and evaluation specifically as it relates to the improvement of teaching and learning and the use of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession. The Association agrees to work in a cooperative manner with the school or District administration in giving whatever assistance may be necessary in order to remediate unsatisfactory performance of a unit member. Nothing in this section obligates the Association to assume any financial responsibility for remediation of performance.
