Obligations Pursuant to Agreement Only. Nothing in this Section 8 shall be construed so that the Organization would, by virtue of its role hereunder, be required under applicable law to maintain the records required to be maintained by it under this Section 8, but is understood that the Organization has agreed to do so in order to enable the Fund Company and the selling dealer or agent to comply with laws and regulations applicable to them.
