Obligations relating to an Owner. ‌ Subject to the provisions of this Agreement, the Authority shall be the Owner of the Mines for the purposes of the Mines Act, 1952. For the avoidance of doubt and without prejudice to Mine Operator’s obligation to comply with Applicable Laws, the Parties expressly acknowledge and agree that for discharging its obligations under the Mines Act, 1952, the Authority may from time to time give directions to the Mine Operator for compliance with the provisions of the Mines Act, 1952 and the Mine Operator agrees and undertakes to abide by such directions at all times.
