Obligor/Obligee Sample Clauses
The Obligor/Obligee clause defines the parties responsible for performing and receiving obligations under a contract. In practice, this clause identifies which party (the obligor) must fulfill a specific duty, such as delivering goods or making payments, and which party (the obligee) is entitled to receive the benefit of that duty. By clearly assigning roles and responsibilities, the clause ensures that each party understands their contractual obligations and rights, thereby reducing confusion and potential disputes over performance.
