Occlusal Equilibration Sample Clauses
The Occlusal Equilibration clause defines the process and authorization for adjusting a patient's bite to achieve optimal contact between the upper and lower teeth. In practice, this clause allows the dental provider to perform minor reshaping of tooth surfaces or restorative materials to correct bite discrepancies, which may be necessary after restorative procedures or orthodontic treatment. Its core function is to ensure patient comfort and proper dental function by addressing and resolving occlusal imbalances that could otherwise lead to discomfort, tooth wear, or jaw problems.
