Common use of Occupation Certificates Clause in Contracts

Occupation Certificates. 7.1 An Occupation Certificate must be applied for, and issued, within 24 months of the date of the construction approval. Failure to comply with this requirement shall entitle the Certifying Authority to terminate the contract, or to charge additional fees for any inspections, including the Final inspection and issue of any Occupation Certificate.
