Common use of OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL Clause in Contracts

OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. 6.1 On and with effect from the Occupation Date up to and including the Date of Registration of Transfer the Purchaser shall pay to the Seller, monthly in advance, Occupation Rental at the rate calculated on the purchase price and set forth in clause 11 of the schedule of particulars. 6.2 The Purchaser shall be liable for Occupational Rental irrespective of whether he takes occupation or not and shall not be entitled to withhold the Occupational Rental or any part in respect of the work to be done as provided for in clause 7.1.2. 6.3 It is hereby agreed that no tenancy shall be created by the Purchaser taking occupation prior to the Date of Registration of Transfer. 6.4 The Purchaser hereby consents that the Seller’s Conveyancers may set off any amount owing in respect of Occupational Rental of the Unit (if applicable) as set out in clause 6 hereof, against interest earned on the Purchaser's invested deposit, which Occupational Rental shall be paid directly to the Seller following the Date of Registration of Transfer.
