Common use of Occurrence of Sickness While on Duty Clause in Contracts

Occurrence of Sickness While on Duty. Any member compelled to report off duty for sickness occurring whilst on shift and having completed one-half (½) or more of the hours of his tour will be deemed to have completed his tour of duty. If he reports off duty prior to the completion of one-half (½) or more of the hours of his tour of duty, one-half (½) day will be deducted from his accumulated sick leave credits.

Occurrence of Sickness While on Duty. Any member compelled to report off duty for sickness occurring whilst on shift and having completed one-half (½) 4 or more hours of the hours of his member's tour will be deemed to have completed his the tour of duty. If he the member reports off duty prior to the completion of 4 hours' duty, ½ (one-half (½) or more of the hours of his tour of duty, one-half (½half) day will be deducted from his the member's accumulated sick leave credits.

Occurrence of Sickness While on Duty. Any member compelled to report off booking sick on duty for sickness occurring whilst on shift and having completed one-half (½) or more of the hours member's tour of his tour duty, will be deemed to have completed his the tour of duty. If he reports off duty prior the member completes less than one-half of the tour of duty, the number of hours equal to the completion of one-half (½) or more of the hours of his tour of duty, one-half (½) day duty will be deducted from his accumulated the member's sick leave creditsleave.
