Common use of Offer of a place and the payment of the Acceptance Deposit Clause in Contracts

Offer of a place and the payment of the Acceptance Deposit. The Acceptance Deposit will be payable when the Parents accept the offer of a place. Other than where the Parents exercise their right to cancel in accordance with clause 9.12, the Acceptance Deposit is not refundable if the Student does not take up their place at the School. The Acceptance Deposit will be retained in the general funds of the School until the Student leaves and will be repaid without interest after the Student's last Term after deduction of any amounts owed to the School unless stated otherwise in this Agreement. Please also see clause 9.13 which explains what you need to do if you wish to withdraw your acceptance of a place before the Student joins the School.
