Offer of a suitable position. (a) The Employer wishes to keep the number of lay-offs to a minimum and shall make a reasonable attempt, according to the criteria set out in clause 14.03, to offer a suitable position to any employee who has been laid off. (b) If the employee declines, without good and sufficient reason, the offer of transfer in the same geographical area to another position, as described above, he/she is immediately remunerated according to the rate of pay of the reclassified position.
