Common use of OFFER TO RENT Clause in Contracts

OFFER TO RENT. 2.1 You may from time to time Offer to rent Goods from us, by delivering to us a completed and signed Rental Schedule. By doing so, you irrevocably authorise us to pay the supplier of the Goods specified in the Rental Schedule in order for us to procure the Goods. 2.2 A Rental Schedule must be signed on your behalf by an Authorised Person. If a Rental Schedule is signed or apparently signed by an Authorised Person, we will rely on that Rental Schedule being valid and binding unless we are aware that the signature is forged or procured in excess of or without authority. 2.3 We may in our absolute discretion either accept or reject any Offer, or require you to provide additional information or documents as a condition of us accepting the Offer. Our discretion is not affected if you pay for or take delivery of the Goods the subject of the Offer. 2.4 We may accept an Offer by signing a copy of the Rental Schedule. Upon us signing a copy of the Rental Schedule a Rental Agreement commences and becomes binding on you and us for the Goods specified in the Rental Schedule. 2.5 If Goods are delivered to you before the Rental Agreement commences, you must observe the provisions of this Agreement relating to the ownership, insurance and use of those Goods as if the Rental Agreement relating to those Goods had commenced. 2.6 You authorise us to complete any blank spaces in the Rental Schedule which have not been completed when it is signed by you, such as the Commencement Date.
