Officer Engagement. To make certain that MPD’s Mission, Vision, Values, Goals, and policies regarding non-discriminatory policing and impartial policing, use of force, and stops, searches, and arrests are written with sufficient detail and clarity, MPD command staff will gather feedback and input from officers of all ranks across all five precincts and specialty units before finalizing any changes to its Mission, Vision, Values, Goals, and policies.
