Official Shorelines Map approximate. The Official Shorelines Map only approximately identifies or depicts the lateral extent of shoreline jurisdiction and environment designations from the shoreline waterbody. The actual lateral extent of shoreline jurisdiction and environment designations shall be determined on a site-specific basis at the time a development is proposed based on the location of the ordinary high water mark, floodway, floodplain, and the presence of associated wetlands.
