On Retirement. 52.5.1 If an employee is requested to undertake a change in work headquarters involving a change in principal residence, and is age 55 or older on the date of transfer, consideration shall be given to the reimbursement of some or all of the moving expenses of that individual upon eventual retirement from Inergi. The extent and terms of the assistance to be provided upon retirement will be determined at the time of transfer.
52.5.2 Only moving expenses within the Province of Ontario or to the nearest exit point from the Province will be eligible for consideration.
On Retirement. (a) On retirement, as defined in Article 10, an employee shall be entitled to a terminal allowance.
(b) On the date of retirement, the number of days of unused sick leave standing to the employee’s credit shall be doubled. The terminal allowance shall be fifty percent (50%) of this number of days multiplied by the employee’s daily rate of pay at the date of the employee's retirement.
(c) That in no case shall the number of days terminal allowance at termination exceed the maximum number of days terminal allowance previously available to employees under their respective Collective Agreements with Gloucester, Nepean or Ottawa Police Services Boards as at December 31, 1994.
On Retirement. On termination of employment due to retirement, an employee who has thirteen (13) or more years of continuous employment shall be paid severance pay equal to the product obtained by multiplying their weekly rate of pay on termination of employment by the number of completed years of their continuous employment to a maximum of fifteen (15), less any period in respect of which he/she was granted severance pay.

53.5.1 If Hydro One requires an employee who occupies a house or trailer on Hydro One property or a site under Hydro One control to move on retirement, the employee will be reimbursed as outlined in Section 53.3 for the cost of a move to any location in Ontario in which he or she desires to settle.

Employees hired after December 31, 2001 are not entitled to severance pay on retirement.
