Common use of On-Us Entries Clause in Contracts

On-Us Entries. Except as provided in Section 6, in the case of an Entry received for credit or debit to an account maintained with Bank (an “On-Us Entry”), Bank shall credit or debit the Receiver’s account in the amount of such Entry on the Effective Entry Date contained in such Entry, provided the requirements set forth in clauses (i) and (ii) of Section 4(b) are met. If either of those requirements is not met, Bank shall use reasonable efforts to credit the Receiver’s account in the amount of such Entry on the next business day following such Effective Entry Date.
