OPEN SOURCE BRANCH (OSB). G.6.1 The conditions listed above will apply to OSB linguists though they will be entitled to receive both the ‘S’ and ‘R’ components of LPA at the level of successful completion of the ‘R’ examination. For example, an OSB linguist who successfully completes the ‘R3’ test will receive LPA at the R3/S3 rate. OSB linguists still must complete both ‘S’ and ‘R’ components to receive any additional bonuses.
