Common use of Opening Date Clause in Contracts

Opening Date. The Lessee shall open the business for trading on the opening date as defined in clause 3 hereof. Should the Lessee fail to open, a penalty of R5,000.00 (Five Thousand Rand) shall be imposed for each day that the lessee fails to open and trade, in a bona-fide manner.
