OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE DATA Sample Clauses
The "Operating and Maintenance Data" clause requires the contractor or supplier to provide detailed information and documentation on the operation and upkeep of equipment or systems delivered under the contract. This typically includes manuals, maintenance schedules, parts lists, and instructions necessary for the proper use and servicing of the installed items. By mandating the delivery of such data, the clause ensures that the owner or end user can effectively operate and maintain the equipment, reducing the risk of misuse, breakdowns, or costly repairs due to lack of information.
OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE DATA. The Contractor shall assemble for the approval by the Architect and/or Owner all operating and maintenance data from all manufacturers whose equipment is installed in the performance of the Work, and shall submit such information to the Owner via hard copy to the Owner’s Representative and an electronic copy via Proliance® as a precondition to Final Payment.
