Common use of Operation and liability Clause in Contracts

Operation and liability. Any one Account Owner of a joint Credit Card Account can operate and instruct us to act in respect of the joint Credit Card Account separately. This means that, without limitation, any one Account Owner can undertake Transactions within the credit limit of the Credit Card Account as described in clause 2.10 or apply to change, or agree to/decline a change in, the credit limit of the Credit Card Account in accordance with clause 2.11. We will give any notices in relation to a joint Credit Card Account to the address according to our records. In addition, any notice given to one Account Owner of a joint Credit Card Account is deemed to be sufficient notice to all Account Owners. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by us, each Account Owner of a joint Credit Card Account is liable both individually and together with the other Account Owners, in respect of any amount owing to us on that account. Accordingly, any one or more of the Account Owners may be required to pay all the money that is owed in respect of a joint Credit Card Account.
