Common use of Option Fee Clause in Contracts

Option Fee. For each Isis Reserved DS-Target for which Isis exercises its option granted pursuant to Section 6.2, Isis will pay Alnylam an irrevocable, noncreditable and non-refundable option fee of $[***] due upon the date of exercise. Isis may credit any $[***] payment made under Section 6.4(a) for the DS-Target Slot occupied by such Reserved DS-Target against this option fee. The option fee is only payable once per RNA Target.
