Common use of Optional Overdraft Transactions Clause in Contracts

Optional Overdraft Transactions. The following types of transactions require you to “opt in” (in other words, you must provide us with your affirmative consent) if you would like to include them in Overdraft Tolerance. Choosing not to opt in may result in these transactions being declined: • ATM transactions • Everyday Debit Card transactions We do not require you to authorize Overdraft Tolerance for your ATM and everyday debit card transactions as a condition of us providing Overdraft Tolerance to you for your checks, ACH transactions or other transactions. If you want the Credit Union to authorize and pay overdrafts for ATM and everyday debit card transactions through Overdraft Tolerance, you must provide us with your consent by: (1) calling us at 000.000.0000; (2) visiting any branch and speaking with a Representative; or (3) mailing notice of your decision to opt in to Overdraft Tolerance for ATM and everyday debit card transactions to OUR Credit Union, 0000 Xxxxxxxx Xx, Xxxxx Xxx, XX 00000. (*Note that we post debit transactions in the manner they are submitted by the merchant. We have no control over whether a merchant codes your transaction as a recurring or a non-recurring (everyday) transaction.)
