Options Considered. Option 1: Cease funding and withdraw from the partnership.
5.1 The Council can of course cease all funding and withdraw from the Partnership which is likely to result in the closing of the Partnership and the cessation of the work it carries out. This is not considered a viable option without putting in place a replacement for those elements of essential work carried out by the Partnership on Council owned land or without increased resources for Council officers to engage others on projects currently being implemented by the Partnership.
5.2 The Council has a Statutory Duty to manage the Local Nature Reserves which were declared under Section 10 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and should management deteriorate on these or any public site that the KHWP assist with as a result of the closure of the Partnership then issues around safety, anti-social behaviour and access may arise on those sites requiring an immediate commitment of resources or closure.
5.3 This option is not considered further here as it is beyond the scope of this report and would require considerable resources and time to consider properly.
Options Considered. Outline the alternative options considered in the feasibility studies. TEXT BOX
Options Considered. (1) Provide no architectural services for this project
(2) Contract with another architectural firm for the design services
Options Considered. 12.1 None as it is considered that the Council along with the other WCAs has to intrinsically support the provision of long term waste treatment facilities in the County to meet the targets set by the Government's Strategy and Waste and the EC Directives.
Options Considered. 14.1 Four main options were considered for Telephony provision and are all explored in detail in the attached Business Case.
14.1.1 Retain the telephony contact centre in house, but do nothing in terms of system investment (Option1 – Do Minimum)
14.1.2 Retain the telephony contact centre in house and invest in the Lagan CRM system to meet management information needs. (Option 2 – Retain In house staffing for telephony and invest in Lagan CRM)
14.1.3 Retain strategic responsibility for, but delegate day – to – day operational telephony contact centre delivery to Charnwood. (Option 3
14.1.4 Outsource service provision to a private sector service provider with a proven track record in this area. (Option 4 –
Options Considered. 2.1 Adopt the Agreement, as set out at Appendix A.
Options Considered. 3.1 TWBC implement PR2 enforcement on behalf of KCC accepting responsibility of all implementation and operational costs, but retaining any proceeds of enforcement.
3.2 Not implement enforcement of PR2 for KCC. This would be unsafe for pedestrians as the scheme design assumes that only buses, taxis and cycles will pass through between 9 am and 6 pm daily. It would also not achieve the ambition of the Corporate Plan, which was to enhance the public realm in the town centre of Tunbridge Xxxxx and to provide a distinctive community space for residents and visitors.
Options Considered. 3.1. Option 1 For the Cabinet to approve the contents of the Nominations Agreement to establish consistent nomination practices through the borough considering changes made to the Council’s housing allocation scheme policy and to include changes in operational delivery that have occurred.
3.2. Option 2 For the Council to continue to operate without a Nominations Agreement and for nomination arrangements to be included within individual planning agreements without key nomination specifications. This option is not recommended as the Council will continue to operate nominations without any framework for governing the nominations arrangements.
Options Considered. 4.1 Option 1 To enter into an agreement with BCC for 5 years where AVDC meet the first £312k of any loss and any further losses (currently projected as £111k) are met 50/50 between AVDC and BCC. BCC have agreed to this option.
4.2 Option 2 To advise BCC that AVDC no longer wish to provide enforcement services to BCC for on-street parking which will be cost neutral to AVDC. This will mean that the service would be provided by a contractor. This option may be confusing for the customer as there will be two providers one for off-street and one for on-street. AVDC would also lose influence over the on-street service.
Options Considered. Approve the proposed ordinance allowing the Mayor to execute the change to the Development Agreement.
