Options Futures Contracts and Foreign Currency Transactions. OPTIONS The Custodian shall, upon receipt of proper instructions and in accordance with the provisions of any agreement between the Custodian, any registered broker-dealer and, if necessary, the Trust, relating to compliance with the rules of the Options Clearing Corporation or of any registered national securities exchange or similar organization or organizations, receive and retain confirmations or other documents, if any, evidencing the purchase or writing of an option on a security or securities index or other financial instrument or index by the Trust; deposit and maintain in a segregated account for the Trust, either physically or by book-entry in a Securities System, securities subject to a covered call option written by the Trust; and release and/or transfer such securities or other assets only in accordance with a notice or other communication evidencing the expiration, termination or exercise of such covered option furnished by the Options Clearing Corporation, the securities or options exchange on which such covered option is traded or such other organization as may be responsible for handling such options transactions. The Custodian and the broker-dealer shall be responsible for the sufficiency of assets held in the Trust's segregated account in compliance with applicable margin maintenance requirements.
