ORTHOPEDIC IMPAIRMENT Clause Samples

The Orthopedic Impairment clause defines eligibility or classification criteria for individuals who have physical disabilities affecting their bones, joints, or muscles. In practice, this clause typically applies to students in educational settings, identifying those whose orthopedic conditions—such as cerebral palsy, amputations, or bone disorders—significantly limit their ability to participate in standard classroom activities. Its core function is to ensure that individuals with such impairments receive appropriate accommodations and support, thereby promoting equal access to educational opportunities and compliance with disability laws.
