Common use of Other Damage or Destruction Clause in Contracts

Other Damage or Destruction. If any other premises in the BUILDING hereby let are damaged or destroyed either partially or wholly, and the LEASED PREMISES (hereby let) are affected by such damage or destruction or access thereto is reasonably required by the LANDLORD for the purpose of effecting the necessary repairs to and/or restoration of such other premises, then the LANDLORD shall have the right (but shall not be obliged) to deal with the LEASED PREMISES as if they had been totally or partially destroyed and the provisions of clause 9 hereof shall, mutatis mutandis, be applicable.
