Other Development Partners. 6.1 Consistent with international commitments on aid effectiveness, the partners will align development assistance with Timor-Leste’s established regulations, systems and procedures. Australia will encourage other donors to do the same.
6.2 The Government of Timor-Leste will manage the overall coordination of development partners and Australia will assist wherever it is appropriate and effective.
Other Development Partners. The Partners commit to an effective dialogue with partners and stakeholders in fulfilling the objectives of this Arrangement. Other delivery partners and mechanisms will be chosen based on an assessment of the most effective way to achieve the objectives and priorities listed above, and the past performance of partners. This may include expanding partnerships with the private sector and partnering with civil society organisations, in recognition of their critical role in achieving economic growth and poverty reduction. The GOA will seek to support improved coordination among bilateral and regional stakeholders and encourage others to invest in and seek greater coordination of development policies and programs with the GOK. The GOA will continue to work closely with multilateral partners to encourage their increased and effective presence in Kiribati.
Other Development Partners. ▪ Liaised with PROMOTE’s Women in the Economy (WIE) and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ in preparation for dissemination of Doctoral and Master’s training program awareness to their networks. ▪ Liaised with Afghanistan Civil Engagement Program (ACEP) to identify more appropriate CSO and women’s networks to disseminate Doctoral and Master’s training awareness. ▪ Met with AAIP in December 4, to discuss the proposed Quality Laboratory proposal. ▪ At a meeting with Strengthening Watershed and Irrigation Management (SWIM) on November 9, GRAIN learned more about its activities, with mutual agreement to examine opportunities where GRAIN can provide research and extension information through SWIM to beneficiary farmers.
Other Development Partners. 5.1 This MoU acknowledges existing arrangements between the Afghan Government and other development partners as well as coordination arrangements. Australia will pursue opportunities to work jointly with other donors where possible, particularly on risk-sharing.
5.2 Both parties commit to an effective dialogue with partners using, as appropriate, mechanisms for engaging Afghan stakeholders including government, private sector, civil society and rural community representatives.
Other Development Partners. Meetings with other development partners this quarter included: ● Western Region Manager met FAO on October 3 to discuss Wheat Working Group; ● Northern Region Manager attend a collaborative meeting on Drylands Agriculture Policy with World Bank in Balkh on October 15; ● GRAIN’s eastern region team participated in a coordination meeting in Nangarhar with the Adaptive Research Director ARIA, as well as AAIP and ICARDA (November 15); ● Collaboration continued with AAIP at the MAIL office in Kabul on December 9, with GRAIN providing briefings on implementation planning; ● Coordination meeting with CAAI and University Support and Workforce Development Program (USWDP) in Kabul on December 16; and ● GRAIN Central Region Manager met with AAIP finance specialist regarding financial management training for ARIA farm managers on December 22.
