OTHER GRADE Clause Samples
The 'Other Grade' clause defines how materials or goods that do not meet the primary specified grade but are still acceptable under alternative standards are to be handled in a contract. This clause typically outlines the conditions under which substitute grades may be delivered, the process for approval, and any adjustments to price or terms that may result from accepting a different grade. Its core function is to provide flexibility in fulfilling contractual obligations when the exact specified grade is unavailable, thereby reducing the risk of breach and ensuring continuity of supply.
