Outage Restoration. Con Edison shall provide NYISO, to the extent such information is known, information on the nature of any Emergency State, an estimated time of restoration, and any corrective actions required. Initial verbal notice shall be followed up as soon as practicable with written notice explaining the nature of the outage. Interruption of Service. If required by Good Utility Practice or Applicable Reliability Standards to do so, the NYISO may require Con Edison to interrupt or reduce production of electricity if such production of electricity could adversely affect the ability of NYISO and Con Edison to perform such activities as are necessary to safely and reliably operate and maintain the New York State Transmission System. The following provisions shall apply to any interruption or reduction permitted under this Article 9.6.2:
