Common use of Outpatient Therapy Services Clause in Contracts

Outpatient Therapy Services. Outpatient therapy services are provided on a one-on-one basis by licensed therapists to participants who have a TBI, TSCI, or both. A physician must prescribe outpatient therapy services (as applicable), and the prescribed services are to be provided without admittance to a hospital. Outpatient therapy services are to be utilized as a continuum of PARS services and does not include residential or non-residential base services. Outpatient therapy services include core services, but are not limited to: occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, mental health counseling, and substance abuse services.
