Outside Contractor. If using a standard RUS Contract Form, the Awardee shall use the form without modifications, and attach any diagrams, sketches, and tabulations necessary to specify clearly the work to be performed and who shall provide which materials. The engineer shall prepare the construction specifications prior to releasing them along with the respective contract to prospective contractors. RUS recommends that Awardees obtain quotes from several contractors before entering into a contract to ensure obtaining the lowest cost. The Awardee shall ensure that the contractor selected meets all federal, state, and local licensing requirements, as well as bonding requirements, and that the contractor maintains the insurance coverage required by the contract for the duration of the work. (See 7 C.F.R. Part 1788.) Once a contractor has been selected, the Awardee must submit three executed copies of the RUS form contract (except RUS Form 773, which shall follow the procedures below) or the approved Non-Standard Contract, including the construction specifications for the work to be performed, for final administrative approval. Once construction has been completed per the construction specifications and all acceptance tests have been made, the Awardee shall proceed with the closeout of the contract and submit a final contract closeout certification on RUS Form 756 or a similar certification for Non-Standard Contracts.
Outside Contractor. Should the Board consider contracting with an “outside” organization, any service or work currently being performed by non-teaching employees, full consideration shall be given to the value of employee loyalty. In making its decision on these matters, the Board will recognize a responsibility to ensure to the maximum extent possible the continued employment of its staff.
Outside Contractor. The Newark Public Schools and the union agree that if and when any outside contractor is utilized, and such services will have an impact on the duties, responsibilities and/or staffing of this bargaining unit, then the Newark Public Schools and union will meet to discuss the impact and make recommendations to the State District Superintendent prior to any action being taken. The Newark Public Schools will conform to the rules and regulations of the Office of Boiler Pressure vessels in compliance with the State of New Jersey and the Department of Labor, regardless of the current outside monitoring service on the boilers, or any other future monitoring service which the Newark Public Schools may employ.
Outside Contractor. The Parties agree that MGAM and/or MBI, as ------------------ applicable, may utilize the services of Potentia Software Solutions, Inc. ("Potentia"), and its principals, Xxxx Xxxx ("Xxxx") and Xxx Xxxxxxxxx ("Xxxxxxxxx"), to assist their software engineers in the development of various games' designs, systems development and other developments related to the Licensed Products. Pursuant to Section 10.04 of the Base Agreement, Licensor hereby consents to the use of Potentia, Xxxx and Xxxxxxxxx for such purposes; provided, however, that, pursuant to Section 17 of the Base Agreement, Potentia, Xxxx and Xxxxxxxxx shall execute an agreement to abide by the confidentiality provisions contained in said Section 17.
Outside Contractor. 8.7.1 The company shall directly employ maintenance employees to carry out regular maintenance work associated with the efficient running of the company's production operations.
8.7.2 Outside contractors may be engaged as required for the following:
8.7.2.1 For work necessary over and above fitters' daily duties, when special skills are required, and/or when company fitters are absent or unavailable for normal duties.
8.7.2.2 For all other trades, e.g. building, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, electronics, boiler servicing and others, as required by the company.
8.7.2.3 During installation and commissioning of new equipment. Maintenance and production employees will work with contractors as appropriate to ensure an ongoing knowledge is acquired for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
8.7.3 Contractors doing maintenance shall work the same hours (starting and finishing) as maintenance employees and shall be paid no less than maintenance employees of the same classification.
8.7.4 Contractors on project work shall work hours appropriate to the task and shall be paid no less than maintenance employees of the same classification.
8.7.5 Union delegates will be allowed access to contractors for the purposes of discussing this Agreement.
8.7.6 The company will, where practicable, provide reasonable notice of the use of contractors to delegates.
Outside Contractor. “Outside Contractor” means any Person contracted by Ono to provide products or services relating to the Collaboration, including contract manufacturing services, clinical services or regulatory services that contribute to the performance of its responsibilities under the Development Plan or that result in any work product or other information that Progenics or Ono could include or might reasonably be expected to include in any document or report, including, a Registrational Filing, submitted to a Regulatory Authority or subject to review by a Regulatory Authority.
Outside Contractor. “Outside Contractor” means any person other than a Sublicensee contracted by Progenics or Wyeth to provide products or services relating to the Collaboration, including, without limitation, contract manufacturing services, clinical services or regulatory services that contribute to the performance of its responsibilities under the Development Plan or that result in any work product or other information that Progenics or [*] CONFIDENTIAL TREATMENT REQUESTED CONFIDENTIAL PORTION OMITTED AND FILED SEPARATELY WITH THE COMMISSION Table of Contents Wyeth could include or might reasonably be expected to include in any document or report, including, without limitation, a Registrational Filing, submitted to a Government Authority or be subject to review by a Government Authority, including, without limitation the FDA.
