Overtime Description. Double time the regular rate after a 7 hour day - unless for new construction site work where the plumbing contract price is $1.5 million or less, the hours of labor can be 8 hours per day at the employers option. On Alteration jobs when other mechanical trades at the site are working an eighth hour at straight time, then the plumber shall also work an eighth hour at straight time.
