Common use of Owner-Supplied Goods Clause in Contracts

Owner-Supplied Goods. 4.8.1 Design-Builder acknowledges Owner may supply the Project certain Owner- Supplied Equipment and Materials. Design-Builder shall cooperate with Owner Parties and shall provide information and assistance as Owner Parties may reasonably request to investigate such Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials. Design-Builder’s assistance may include providing quotes or Alternates such that Owner Parties may understand the cost of potential Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials versus the cost of those same goods supplied through Design-Builder. 4.8.2 If Owner elects to procure Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials for the Project, Owner Parties, together with Design-Builder, will develop an agreed upon responsibility matrix for the same. However, unless Owner and Design-Builder otherwise agree in writing, the Work shall include coordination, handling, inspecting, preparing, installing, commissioning, and testing such Owner- Supplied Equipment and Materials.
