Common use of Owner’s Construction Inspector Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Construction Inspector. From time to time, in writing, the Owner may designate an individual or firm as Owner's Construction Inspector under this Contract. The Owner’s Construction Inspector may be hired by Owner or hired under the Program Manager’s or Program Manager’s contract and shall provide up to 100% inspection services of the work on behalf of the Owner. The presence of an Owner’s Construction Inspector does not relieve the Design-Builder of any of its responsibilities for design, quality control and independent testing set forth in the General Requirements. The Owner’s Construction Inspector has the authority to report any deviations from the contract documents directly to the Design-Builder’s superintendent at the job site for immediate action, and also to report same to the Program Manager and Owner.
