Common use of Owner's Legal Capacity Clause in Contracts

Owner's Legal Capacity. Vessel Owner attests that he/she is legally entitled to bind the Vessel to all terms of this Agreement, that he/she is not, at the time of reviewing/executing this Agreement, under the influence of alcohol or any legal or illicit drug, and that he/she has reached the legal age of majority and is not legally incapacitated or otherwise unable to fully understand and appreciate each and every term contained in this Agreement.
