Common use of Ownership of Sobi IPR Clause in Contracts

Ownership of Sobi IPR. 15.1.1 TiGenix recognises that Sobi, or its Affiliates, may own or Control certain IPR related to subject matter that was created by or on behalf of Sobi outside of the performance of this Agreement or under the performance of this Agreement but not relating to the Product or the ChondroCelect Process, whether or not prior to or during the term of this Agreement (“Sobi Background IPR”) and that such Sobi Background IPR remains the exclusive property of Sobi or, where applicable, of Sobi’s Affiliates.
