Common use of Paid Employment After Initial Placement Clause in Contracts

Paid Employment After Initial Placement. Employment outside of ISD 917 in either an instructional role or work environment which is representative of the trade being taught. In all cases, the outside experience must be related to the program in which the employee is teaching. This must be outside of the employee’s normal teaching work hours or day, or through an industry leave. One week (40 hours) of preapproved work experience for purposes of improving instructional capabilities equals ten clock hours. To move to or beyond the MA lane, 120 hours is the maximum number of paid employment hours that may be used.
