Paid Training Sample Clauses
Paid Training. Employees, when directed to attend compulsory training courses or in-service sessions pertaining to operations shall be paid in accordance with the provision of the collective agreement.
Paid Training. Employees required to attend compulsory training courses pertaining to Stadium operations after completing eight hours of work in a day or 40 hours of work in a week, will receive overtime rates of pay. It is understood that payment of overtime rates in no way detracts from the compulsory requirement to attend.
Paid Training. Employees will be paid for actual hours of attendance (minimum of one hour of pay) at required classes and departmental meetings. Attendance at required classes will be documented in an employee’s personnel file. Time spent attending required in-services will be considered time worked.

When an employee is assigned to an area where they have not previously worked, an orientation to that area will be provided. Where the employee’s skill levels are not transferable to the new area, appropriate training will be provided.

Employer required training during the normal work schedule shall be at straight time rates.
Paid Training. (a) Employees will be granted leave with pay for courses requested by the Employer. Fees will be paid by the Employer when due.
(b) An employee, when directed by the Employer to attend compulsory training courses pertaining to operation shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement.
Paid Training. 7.8.1 Where Ozcare deems that it is compulsory for the employee to undertake training which is deemed necessary for the employee to undertake their duties, such training will, as far as is practicable, be provided within the employees ordinary hours.
7.8.2 If the compulsory training cannot be provided within the ordinary hours and an employee is approved to attend the compulsory training the minimum hours clause takes effect.

Paid Training. 9.2.1 Where the Employer requires an Employee to undertake training (online or face to face) which is necessary for the Employee to undertake their duties, such time for this training will, in most circumstances, be provided within the Employees rostered ordinary hours.
9.2.2 If compulsory face to face training cannot be provided within the Employee’s rostered ordinary hours, such that the Employee needs to attend work solely for the purposes of undergoing the training, is the Employee will be paid at the appropriate rate of pay with a minimum payment of two hours.
